Position Overview
As a Final Finish team member at American Marine Performance (AMP), you play a crucial role in ensuring the impeccable quality of our boats. You'll utilize your expertise in working with fiberglass resins, gelcoats, fiberglass materials, foam, and structural adhesives to meticulously patch and repair minor defects or damage to boat hulls, decks, and parts. Operating a range of power tools and conducting thorough inspections, you'll be responsible for delivering boat components that meet and exceed our rigorous quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Skilled Repairs: Apply your expertise in fiberglass work to seamlessly patch and repair minor defects and damages on boat hulls, decks, and various parts.
- Precision Work: Utilize a variety of power tools, including saws, drills, grinders, and overhead hoists, with precision to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect all completed parts with meticulous attention to detail to guarantee they meet AMP's exacting quality standards before they move on to the next stage of production.
- Cleanliness and Order: Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety, efficiency, and a high-quality working environment.
- Adherence to Procedures: Follow established procedures and protocols for repair work, safety, and quality control.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other team members to address quality concerns, share insights, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.

Requirements
- Previous experience in fiberglass repair, boat manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in working with fiberglass resins, gelcoats, and related materials.
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment commonly used in fiberglass repair.
