About the role

Rise Modular, LLC is seeking a skilled, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented Finish Carpentry Specialist to join our fast-paced off-site manufacturing team. In this factory-based role, you will play crucial part in modular construction by performing precision finish carpentry - measuring, cutting, and installing interior trim elements, pre-hung doors, and railings to ensure a high-quality finished product.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, and install various interior trim components, including baseboards, door and window casings, and railings, adhering strictly to blueprint specifications and quality standards.
  • Hand and square pre-hung doors accurately to ensure proper operation, alignment, and fit within modular units.
  • Interpret layout drawings, technical instructions, and work orders to complete installations accurately the first time.
  • Inspect your own work continuously to catch gaps, uneven miters, or alignment issues early, ensuring defects are resolved before units move down the production line.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety policies, maintaining a clean and organized work area and correctly wearing required PPE such as safety glasses, and steel-toed boots/shoes.
  • Maintain strong attendance and punctuality, showing flexibility and willingness to work overtime when modular production schedules demand it.
  • Perform other related carpentry and production duties as assigned by team leadership.

Requirements

  • Indoor, climate controlled or factory manufacturing setting with regular exposure to tool noise and sawdust.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to safely lift, carry, and maneuver materials and tools weighing up to 75 pounds at a time.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in finish carpentry, interior trim installation, or closely related construction/manufacturing field.
  • Demonstrate ability to safely and effectively operate miter saws, air Nailers/Fasteners, and standard hand tools.
  • Strong command of measurements, fractions, and basic math required for accurate trim layout and cuts.
  • High standard of craftsmanship with a sharp eye for clean joints, tight miters, and professional-grade finishes.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.

Skills

  • Positive attitude and flexibility regarding job responsibilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team‑focused, fast‑paced environment.
  • Interest in working for a progressive and innovative organization.
