Financial Wellness Coach, UBS Wealth Advice Center
About the role
We are looking for someone who can:
- Obtain a deep understanding of how UBS defines Financial Wellness and deliver this framework to various employee segments of corporate clients
- Demonstrate proficiency and present across a broad range of personal financial management topics
- Engage in a broad 'discovery' conversation to identify an individual's specific financial needs
- Execute on a robust and engaging client experience through the delivery of financial wellness guidance and actionable steps
- Influence employees to break down poor financial habits and drive positive financial change, both near and long term
- Provide education and coaching with respect to the employee's short and long term financial goals
- Lead and deliver webinars that cover various financial topics
- Collaborate across the employee wealth services team to identify opportunities for continued asset growth, revenue expansion, and client retention
- Collaborate with internal business partners to enhance the overall Financial Wellness offering
About your team
This role is within the Financial Wellness business and will focus on providing education and guidance to employees of corporate clients in 1:1 and group settings across a broad range of financial topics, including but not limited to: budgeting, near and long-term savings strategies, retirement plan contributions, creating financial roadmaps, and building portfolios to align with specific client needs.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have a strong understanding of various financial topics with the ability to engage participants virtually, strong presentation skills, dive deep into specific areas, and deliver clear and concise guidance to employees. They are expected to deliver a positive and engaging client experience to help employees get on the path to financial wellness; feeling, and becoming, financially healthy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Strong passion for presenting to live audiences as well as recent financial services industry experience
- FINRA SIE, Series 7 & 66 licenses (required)
- CFP® or interest in obtaining the CFP®
- Client-focused and excellent listener with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A quick learner with a growth mindset and who is driven and consistently challenges the status quo
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to think clearly in complex situations
- Highly detail-oriented and resourceful in leveraging resources to accomplish the task at hand
- Willing to travel to deliver in-person education to clients
Pay
The indicative gross base salary range for this full-time role in Weehawken, New Jersey is USD 70,000 – 93,000 per annum. The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location, and skill level.
