Job Summary

Lead end-to-end execution of finance transformation programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and ROI expectations.

Qualifications Important (or resumes will be ignored)

  • 8+ years of experience in program and portfolio management, with a focus on finance transformation and technology integration
  • Accounting and finance experience in mid-level roles
  • Led cross functional projects/programs/portfolio $2M+
  • Experience in large-scale finance operations
  • Ability to translate financial strategy into operational execution
  • Familiarity with finance systems (e.g., EPM, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan)
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet
  • Strong conflict resolution, active listening, and stakeholder management skills
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous environments
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders
  • Skilled at navigating competing priorities and aligning diverse stakeholders
  • Clear, concise communicator, especially when translating technical or financial concepts
  • Able to see the big picture while managing tactical details
  • Hightly organized (attention to details)
  • Flexible and open to feedback
  • Strong management skills and ability to multi-task competing priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Able to conform to shifting demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Word
  • College Bachelor's degree

  • ERP transformation experience
  • Aviation industry experience
  • Process/Improvement, and organizational change management experience
  • PMP
  • PfMP
  • Green Belt / LSS
  • Exposure to Agile, MS Teams, and Visio

Additional Notes from Hiring Manager

  • Preferred Hybrid role 2 to 3 days per week onsite; pivot as required if policy changes in future; on-site location@ Willis and/or @Arlington Heights)
  • If remote only candidate, must be willing to travel for stakeholder meetings as needed.
  • Minimal (10%) if any business travel
  • Seeking well-rounded candidates and NOT heavy IT or construction, with Finance project management experience
  • Candidate reports to Director, Enterprise PMO
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
  • High level interview process: initial interview, panel interview, and leadership interview
