Financial Specialist / Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a Financial Specialist / Accountant to support federal financial management activities, including financial operations, cost tracking, reporting, and related financial management requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Federal Financials and an understanding of federal financial processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Support federal financial management and accounting activities.
• Perform financial analysis, cost tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Support financial processes and transactions within Oracle E-Business Suite Federal Financials.
• Assist with financial data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support applicable federal financial management requirements, policies, and controls.
• Coordinate with financial, functional, and technical teams as needed.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and support reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Federal Financials.
• Experience with federal financial management, cost tracking, accounting, or related financial operations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• CPA certification preferred, but not required.

Must be able to successfully complete the required Public Trust background investigation and Government onboarding process. Government system access will be provided following completion of applicable credentialing and access requirements. While system access is pending, personnel may perform work that does not require access to restricted Government systems. Government-furnished equipment (GFE) will be provided when required for system access.
