About the role

The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in immediate termination.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) through structured lessons and dedicated study time.
  • Receive dedicated and personalized classes for SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams.
  • Teach foundational skills needed to be an advisor, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships.
  • Guide clients with advice and solutions to help them live their best financial lives, humanizing financial interactions.
  • Work in a financial center to deliver Bank of America's core banking, investment solutions, and client care.
  • Grow and deepen relationships within a portfolio of clients, progressing to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II.
  • Advocate for clients' financial goals and life priorities through end-to-end comprehensive advice and client reviews/presentations.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to the solutions provided by Bank of America and Merrill.

Requirements

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
  • Self-discipline in managing time and capacity.
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs, and recommending solutions.
  • Strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • A results-driven mindset prioritizing client interests in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.

Qualifications

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience preferred.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Monday – Friday with rotating Saturdays, 40 hours per week.
