About the role

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), you will begin by obtaining your Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) through dedicated, personalized classes. After licensing, you’ll learn foundational advisory skills—acquiring, building, and managing client relationships while guiding clients through their complex financial needs with tailored advice and solutions.

You will work in a financial center, delivering core banking and investment solutions. Upon reaching key milestones, you’ll progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, deepening client relationships within a portfolio. Success in this role opens opportunities for advancement across Bank of America and Merrill.

The Academy provides ongoing support with programs, tools, and resources throughout your career. This position requires SAFE Act registration, including a background check and federal registry compliance. Failure to maintain registration may result in termination.

Responsibilities

  • Complete structured training and obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses within required timelines (SIE within 30 days; Series 7 and 66 within 120 days).
  • Develop business knowledge using a consultative approach to identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Build and manage client relationships, interacting with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients.
  • Provide comprehensive financial advice, deliver client reviews, and recommend strategies aligned with clients’ goals and priorities.
  • Collaborate with banking and investment partners to connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill solutions.
  • Leverage relationships with one out of two U.S. households to grow your business.
  • Execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing client interests.

Requirements

  • Aptitude for obtaining required industry licenses.
  • Self-discipline in managing time and workload.
  • Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions.
  • Ability to build strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on client interests in a complex environment.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (minimum education requirement).

Desired Qualifications

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday with rotating Saturdays.
  • 1st shift.
  • 40 hours per week.
