As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), you will begin by obtaining your Securities Industry licenses through dedicated, personalized classes for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. After securing your licenses, you will learn foundational advisory skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships while addressing their complex financial needs with tailored advice and solutions.

Once key milestones are reached, you will work in a financial center, delivering core banking and investment solutions. Upon demonstrating success, you will typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, deepening client relationships within a portfolio. Successful advisors may advance into various roles across Bank of America and Merrill, supported by ongoing Academy programs, tools, and resources.

This role requires SAFE Act registration, including a background check and federal registry system registration. Failure to maintain SAFE Act compliance may result in termination.

Responsibilities

  • Build a successful career through world-class training and onboarding programs.
  • Receive structured lessons and dedicated study time to earn your SIE (within 30 days), Series 7, and Series 66 (within 120 days) licenses.
  • Develop business knowledge using a consultative approach to identify client needs and recommend solutions.
  • Interact with banking customers, small business owners, and higher-net-worth clients to grow your network.
  • Provide end-to-end financial advice, deliver client reviews, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with banking and investment partners to connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill solutions.
  • Leverage relationships with one out of two U.S. households to expand your client base.

Requirements

  • Aptitude for obtaining required industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66).
  • Self-discipline in managing time and workload effectively.
  • Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions.
  • Ability to build strong peer relationships through communication and collaboration.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on client interests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to new technologies.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (minimum education requirement).

Desired Qualifications

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday, with rotating Saturdays.
  • Full-time role (40 hours per week, 1st shift).

This position is open across the market. Training will occur at a designated financial center, followed by a potential phone-based role until a permanent financial center location—within a reasonable commuting distance—is assigned.
