About the role

At Bank of America, you will begin as a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), starting with dedicated and personalized classes to obtain your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. After securing your licenses, you will learn foundational advisory skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships while guiding clients through their complex financial needs.

Once key milestones are reached, you will work in a financial center delivering core banking and investment solutions. Successful progression leads to the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II role, where you will deepen client relationships within a portfolio. The Academy provides ongoing support, tools, and resources throughout your career.

This position requires SAFE Act registration, including a background check. Failure to maintain registration may result in termination.

Responsibilities

  • Complete structured training to earn Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses within specified timelines (SIE within 30 days, Series 7 and 66 within 120 days).
  • Use a consultative approach to identify client needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
  • Build and manage relationships with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients.
  • Provide comprehensive financial advice, deliver client reviews, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Collaborate with banking and investment partners to connect clients with solutions from Bank of America and Merrill.
  • Leverage Bank of America’s extensive client network to grow your business.
  • Execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing client interests.

Requirements

  • Aptitude for obtaining required industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66).
  • Self-discipline in managing time and workload.
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions.
  • Ability to build strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on client interests.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
  • Spanish-speaking ability.

Schedule

Monday – Friday with rotating Saturdays. Full-time, 40 hours per week (1st shift).

Training will occur at one financial center, followed by a potential phone-based role until a permanent financial center location is assigned within a reasonable commuting distance.
