About the role
As a Financial Services Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through their banking needs with a proactive and personalized touch. You will build relationships with customers to improve their financial well-being by handling everyday transactions, educating on self-service options, assisting with basic banking needs, and routing customers to the appropriate next step.
Responsibilities
- Provide a range of customer services including transaction processing, customer and account servicing, opening new accounts and products, and referring to partners
- Deliver exceptional customer experience through every interaction by proactively engaging customers, building relationships, asking relevant questions, and anticipating needs
- Identify basic customer needs and generate high-quality referrals to branch associates, internal partners, and external vendor partners to support financial goals
- Utilize bank resources to assist with resolving basic or common account/customer issues and escalate unresolved issues for further research
- Contribute to the efficient operation of a well-run branch by adhering to established processes, guidelines, and compliance directives
- Participate in and support the bank's strategic plan to grow all aspects of the retail bank's business
- Meet or exceed sales goals through targeted sales activities, identifying customer needs, and offering appropriate products and services
- Own career development by sharpening existing skills, learning new ones, and taking advantage of training opportunities
- Attend and participate in bank-sponsored events to enhance visibility and contribute to customer growth and acquisition
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college a plus
- Successful customer service and/or sales experience required
- Previous experience in a retail bank or related industry preferred
- Prior cash handling experience preferred

Pay
Hourly Pay Range: $14.10 - $22.06 per hour
