Financial Services Litigation Attorney
Position Overview
Hinshaw & Culbertson, a leading national law firm, seeks a mid- to senior-level litigation Associate and/or Senior Counsel to join its Consumer Financial Services practice, working remotely in Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute litigation strategies for defaulted commercial loans for traditional and non-traditional lenders.
- Litigate and resolve disputes involving defaulted commercial loans.
- Analyze and review loan-level documentation, draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and workout resolution agreements.
- Argue motions and handle court appearances.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients and supervising attorneys.
- Conduct thorough research and write persuasive legal documents.
Requirements
- Admitted to the PA Bar in good standing (NJ Bar and/or NY Bar admissions in good standing are pluses).
- Experience in financial services and contested foreclosure litigation.
- Experience representing creditors in bankruptcy matters (preferred).
- Experience analyzing and reviewing loan-level documentation, drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, and workout resolution agreements.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Pay
The estimated salary range displayed is specifically for those applicants who will perform work in Pennsylvania if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary range, market data, applicant skills, relevant experience, degrees, or certifications.

Estimated $140,000 to $210,000 annually. The estimated salary range displayed is specifically for those applicants who will perform work in Pennsylvania if selected for the role and is not applicable to other locations. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary range, market data, applicant skills, relevant experience, degrees, or certifications.
