Responsibilities

  • Represent creditors, lenders, and financial institutions in state and federal proceedings, including matters involving foreclosure, collections, and bankruptcy
  • Advises clients on loan restructuring, workouts, and recovery strategies
  • Drafts pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda related to debt enforcement and financial disputes
  • Negotiates and prepares settlement agreements, loan modifications, forbearance agreements, and related transactional documents
  • Conducts legal research and analysis on complex commercial and financial issues
  • Collaborates with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to at least one U.S. state bar (additional admissions a plus)
  • 2–5 years of experience in creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, or financial services litigation
  • Strong litigation, drafting, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
