Compensation
$43-46K (hourly, non-exempt)
Purpose of Position
The Financial Services Analyst is responsible for the overall process within the Financial Services Department. They also maintain confidentiality of the financial aid information, report issues or improvement plans to the Director of Financial Services, and assist in the development of the financial aid department.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance and provide accurate information to students
- Review and audit files submitted by the Financial Aid Coordinators (FACs)
- Create and issue award letters and FASApp
- Maintain and update the certified loan report
- Complete financial aid files after the process is finished
- Help students obtain funding through various programs
- Prepare, explain, and supply applicants with appropriate documents for financial aid decisions
- Analyze the timing of funding for students
- Update Salesforce in the financial aid section regarding funding scores, etc.
- Verify funding amounts and order funds as needed
- Participate in financial aid meetings and events
- Download, upload, and email vouchers as necessary
- Issue borrower notifications and provide exit counseling
- Run enrollment reports and add new students to the NSLDS transfer monitor list
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing role preferred
- 2 years’ experience in a financial aid role preferred
- Salesforce experience a plus

- Regularly listen to students and employees (via phone and/or video) and communicate verbally and in writing
- Exchange accurate information in these situations
- Observe student documents and detect concerns or areas for improvement
- Frequently move around the office and customer/prospect locations in diverse environments
- Maintain a high level of consistent cognitive function
- Stoop, kneel, or crouch when maneuvering the office environment
- Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
