Primary Job Duties
- Financial/Revenue Analyst is responsible for maximizing seat revenue by initiating market competitive pricing and executing strategic financial/revenue management decisions for assigned markets.
- Must be able to evaluate multiple market influences and implement appropriate action to assure optimal seat revenue.
- Utilize forecasting and optimization software and market competitive information to determine and implement market specific revenue management strategies.
- Analyze and establish optimal inventory levels (including product mix, overbooking).
- Determine flight parameters based on advance bookings, seasonality, forecast load factor, revenue value and other factors critical to flight performance.
- Analyze revenue results on continuous basis, revising strategy as needed.
- Pricing: Determine and implement fares for assigned markets. Analyze influence of fare changes, schedule changes and competition on market revenue and initiate new strategy as needed. Create and negotiate pricing products and/or programs that will serve as tools to increase revenue.
- Working with ATPCO, fares, rules and footnotes.
- Market Analysis: Keep abreast of industry developments, identifying revenue opportunities and adjusting market strategy as needed. Produce written analytical market study reports when applicable.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in special assignments and cross-functional initiatives as needed, including ad-hoc projects that may fall outside of regular responsibilities.
- Prepare, maintain, and automate operational and analytical reports that support daily revenue management activities, performance monitoring, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
Minimum Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Learn and utilize multiple airline software programs.
- Analyzing data determining patterns, trends, and deviations, and evaluating the significance thereof.
- Demonstrate advanced software and data management skills. Possess technical knowledge/skills to complete complex projects without any supervision.
- Technical competence includes an ability to generate ad-hoc reports and analyze complex data.
- Must have an ability to transfer and apply knowledge from one business case to another.
- Capable of making independent decisions which affect bottom line revenue.
- Have working knowledge of mathematical functions.
- Analyze effectiveness of own market strategies and revise as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in analytical fields required by September 2026.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
