Expertise and Functions
Provide guidance to program managers in financial reporting objectives and standards to ensure accurate, compliant and useful financial reporting is produced.
Initiate, monitor and maintain proper project setup in UnanetBudgeting and financial analysis.
- Develop project cost/schedule baselines and budgets.
- Monitor project actuals and resolve issues.
- Monitor outstanding project commitments (e.g., travel, subcontracts).
- Develop monthly project financial forecasts/EACs and conduct variance analysis.
- Analyze project reports to identify and resolve issues.
- Document and support monthly program reviews.
- Complete earned value calculations and analysis for projects.
- Evaluate work in progress to determine appropriate accrual values.
Contracts / Pricing
- Review and analyze contracts, subcontracts, and agreements to ensure project meets financial and reporting requirements.
- Affiliate with pricing and historical data collection.
- Provide analysis for forward-looking financials and business-related projects.
- Prepare forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing, sales, and other related areas.
- Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management.
Requirements
- Education/Training: Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree desired Government contracting experience preferred Cost and financial analysis experience preferred Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels Ability to work autonomously Creative in the ability to process improve and automate Knowledge, understanding and experience with ERP systems Hands-on experience assembling analytical tools for operations Strong knowledge of Excel Experience: 2+ years of experience in management and program oversight Experience in Earned Value Management preferred Experience with Unanet preferred Knowledge in Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint preferred
- Security: Must be a US citizen Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
Physical Requirements
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
