About the role
Syngenta is seeking a Financial Process & Technology (FP&T) Business Process Specialist in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role will play a key role in transforming Finance processes and technology across North America. You’ll partner with Finance, IT, and global teams to improve business processes, support ERP/SAP initiatives, lead Finance transformation projects, and ensure successful data migration and system implementations.
Responsibilities
- Lead Finance process improvement and transformation initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Partner with Finance, IT, and global stakeholders to design scalable, compliant business processes.
- Manage Finance data migration activities, ensuring data quality, governance, testing, and go-live readiness.
- Prioritize projects, manage dependencies, and help deliver initiatives on time and within scope.
- Translate business needs into practical ERP/SAP solutions that improve efficiency and support business goals.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships while communicating project risks, progress, and recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, governance, and adoption of new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Finance transformation, ERP/SAP systems, Finance processes, business process improvement, or data migration.
- Strong understanding of core Finance processes, such as General Ledger, Financial Close, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany, and Record-to-Report.
- Experience working with SAP or other enterprise ERP systems, such as process design and system implementation.
- Knowledge of Finance controls, compliance, audit readiness, and data governance principles.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with Finance, IT, business leaders, and global stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations or Finance transformation programs.
- Experience with Finance data migration, validation, reconciliation, and governance.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global, matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and drive continuous improvement.
- Interest in emerging technologies, such as AI and digital Finance solutions.
Schedule
Hybrid work schedule with at least three days per week onsite in our Greensboro, NC office.
