FINANCIAL OPERATIONS

We are an HFT (High-Frequency Trading) fund solving complex problems at the intersection of technology, mathematics, and finance. Our fund is in a phase of rapid growth, and the financial function is evolving alongside the business.

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Operations / Accounting Specialist to join our Back Office team. In this role, you will take ownership of key financial reporting and operational blocks, helping to build a robust financial foundation for business scaling. You will work directly with the CFO and key stakeholders, influencing processes and the company’s stability.

Responsibilities

• Build, rebuild, or automate management reporting (PnL, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet)
• Take ownership of specific financial blocks and ensure their accuracy and transparency
• Work with financial calculations, reconciliations, and model logic validation
• Interact with banks, auditors, consultants, and other external counterparties
• Handle operational and cross-functional tasks within the Back Office
• Structure chaotic processes and turn them into efficient systems
• Work autonomously, making decisions within your area of responsibility

Requirements

• Experience with financial reporting and calculations, including management reporting (PnL, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet)
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting logic
• Ability to take responsibility for specific reporting blocks
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with high responsibility
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for complex, dynamic files, manual calculations, and model validation
• Ability to quickly dive into existing files and systems
• Experience with operational financial tasks, including interactions with banks and counterparties
• Ability to work autonomously without detailed instructions
• Experience building workflows from scratch or refining them on the go

Qualifications

• Experience in Big4, financial consulting, or fintech
• Experience in startups or fast-growing companies with high uncertainty
• Understanding of international payments, banking processes, and multi-jurisdictional operations
• Experience interacting with external counterparties such as banks, auditors, and consultants
• HFT (High-Frequency Trading) experience is a plus (internship or full-time work)
