About the role

• Oversee essential finance operations and ensure accurate, timely, and efficient execution of financial processes.
• Manage accounts payable processes, including vendor payments and payment workflow coordination.
• Generate customer invoices and support accounts receivable and collections activities.
• Serve as a primary contact for vendor payment inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate financial records across accounting systems, spreadsheets, and internal tools.
• Avoidance of repetitive tasks through process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure financial obligations are completed accurately and on time.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and strengthen finance operations.
• Support the continued development of scalable financial workflows in a growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable processes, including vendor payments and payment workflow coordination.
• Generate customer invoices and support accounts receivable and collections activities.
• Prepare domestic and international wire transfers for finance leadership approval.
• Serve as a primary contact for vendor payment inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate financial records across accounting systems, spreadsheets, and internal tools.
• Avoidance of repetitive tasks through process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure financial obligations are completed accurately and on time.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and strengthen finance operations.
• Support the continued development of scalable financial workflows in a growing organization.

Requirements

• An organized and detail-focused finance professional who enjoys building processes, solving operational challenges, and working independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience using accounting systems, ERPs, or financial management tools.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach.
• Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and consistently deliver accurate results.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup or growth-oriented environment.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related field is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is a plus.
• Experience with startup environments, cash management, or treasury operations is beneficial.
• Familiarity with tools such as QuickBooks, Ramp, Campfire, or similar financial platforms is preferred.
