Work Experience Requirements
- 3–5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related roles, with demonstrated growth in scope and responsibility.
- Detail oriented with above-average analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
- Pioneered ability to solve complex, non-routine problems and exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision.
- Advanced competency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, complex formulas, data visualization); proficiency in Word and Outlook.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately, including percentages, fractions, decimals, and complex financial formulae.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to management and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of agency operations, agency management, and business administration practices.
- Strong working knowledge of agency workflow procedures and software, underwriting, sales, and service processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic; team player who can also serve as a resource and mentor to junior staff.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required; 3–5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis roles.
