Financial Operations Analyst

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Create and maintain detailed financial reports for key stakeholders.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Maintain budget performance and provide insights into budgetary discrepancies.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of the hospital's cost accounting system.
• Collaborate with consultants on organizational initiatives.
• Work with other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulations.
• Develop innovative strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Keep abreast of financial technologies and software advancements.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong aptitude for numbers.
• Familiar with KPIs, OKRs, NPR, and SQL.
• Adept at using financial systems and having strong attention to detail.
• Able to interpret financial data with precision.
• A self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively.
• A creative thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to multitask and prioritize work to meet internal deadlines.

Bonus Qualifications

• Financial modeling skills: Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyzing scenarios and providing insights into the financial impact of various initiatives.
• Advanced Data Analytics: Experience in advanced data analytics tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with healthcare systems, processes, and terminology.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving department within a larger organization, adapting quickly to changes and challenges.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Experience: Three years of experience in financial operations, analysis, and/or budgeting.
• Licensure: None required.
