FINANCIAL MANGEMENT ANALYST
About the Role
You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst for CNSSC MECHANICSBURG NWCF MHA.
Responsibilities
- Monitor budget execution to ensure compliance with the DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) and present performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer requirements align with program budget plans.
- Utilize the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) or related automated financial system to extract, interpret, and analyze financial reports and statistical data.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve a range of budgetary problems, including development of alternative methods of funding.
- Monitor program budget execution to ensure availability and sufficiency of funds.
- Develop timely and effective communication of identified issues and recommended resolutions that balance the interests of the mission and multiple stakeholders, to subordinate and senior levels.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent, demonstrating knowledge and skill applying principles, concepts, and practices to perform assignments concerning financial management and budget.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
