Responsibilities
- Access financial and proprietary information, information affected by the Privacy Act of 1974, and information used for competitive solicitations requiring the Contractor to sign an NDA.
- Aid the Government task managers in the daily financial administration of AFLCMC EN-EZ assigned projects.
- Develop briefing slides, charts, and other products for both analytical and communication purposes.
- Analyze and review correspondence and draft documents, providing recommended responses.
- Develop draft financial evaluations before signature by the USAF, including scope analysis, expenditures, and recommended changes to support contracts.
- Advise and assist in proposal preparation, evaluation, and discussion activities.
- Assist in analyzing and reviewing proposals, providing recommendations and historical data for financial aspects.
- Coordinate with office members to track expenditures, develop and manage spend plans, and IGCEs if required.
- Manage accounting processes to ensure accurate man-hour accounting and billing.
- Support the Government in preparing funding documents for support contracts and assessing relevant assignments.
- Perform routine administrative tasks such as filing, research, coordination, attending meetings, and providing financial management support.
- Utilize existing network resources for sharing, uploading, routing, and downloading financial management documentation.
- Assist in developing and executing agreements and proposal document control/filing systems.
- Maintain configuration control of office financial record files.
- Provide audit support if required.
- Assist with AFLCMC civilian pay budget execution, tracking, reporting, and associated accounting system adjustments.
- Answer suspenses like annual execution/spend plan, POM call via CMS, and DARQ via ADVANA, etc.
- Assist with SAF/AQ with R-docs or P-docs updates via IDECs and data for PEM parade chart development.
- Assist with managing SAF/FM CRA requirements and BTRs requests via ASARs.
- Assist in managing travel funds via DTS and reconciling in CCaR.
- Assist in working to reconcile and close Unliquidated obligation balances.
- Monitor financial execution and report discrepancies between contractor-reported expenditures and DFAS payments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of financial management experience.
- Experience supporting DoD or Air Force programs.
- Experience with DFAS systems, CCaR, CRIS, or similar financial systems preferred.
- Familiarity with DoD and USAF policy and guidance.
- Knowledge and experience in financial management support to assist the USAF in meeting guidance in the FAR, United States Code Title 10, DoD Financial Management Regulations, AFI 65-601, and other applicable documents and regulations.
