What You Will Do Verifies insurance eligibility, pre-cert requirements and co-pay amounts for all inpatients and surgical patients accessing our servicesInitiates referrals for patients with no insurance or financial needServes as departmental insurance resource/educator for all staffRegisters patients accessing the Acute Care sites Education Requirements H.S. Diploma or GED required Experience Requirements Minimum 5 years of billing/credit experience (Healthcare setting preferred)Customer service experienceAll new employees are required to undergo and pass all applicable state and federally mandated pre-employment screening requirements. Pay range: $19.20 - $24.60 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
