As a Financial Counseling Representative, you will be a trusted guide for patients navigating insurance coverage, financial responsibility, and payment solutions. On‑Site – Ogden, Utah | Intermountain, McKay‑Dee Hospital Dept.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional financial counseling support by helping patients understand insurance benefits and out‑of‑pocket costs
• Meet with patients to discuss payment options and financial assistance programs
• Verify insurance eligibility and explain benefits clearly
• Assist with Medicaid and financial assistance applications
• Build trust with patients during stressful financial situations
• Collaborate with care teams and revenue cycle departments
• Maintain accurate documentation across multiple systems

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service experience, communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates genuine compassion, empathy, and patience when supporting patients, clients and team members
• Ability to explain financial and insurance concepts clearly
• Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly with high attention to detail
• Professionalism with sensitive financial conversations
• High School Diploma or GED

Pay

$18.59 – $25.44 per hour

Schedule

36 Hours Between 8a‑5p Monday through Friday
