Financial Controller, Depot Services

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Manage general ledger postings including interest, depreciation, accruals, provisions, and lease accounting (IFRS 16 / ASC 842)
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Prepare financial reporting for management and stakeholders
• Administer operating agreement provisions including capital calls and financing activities
• Provide financial reporting to external tax advisors
• Maintain fixed assets and inventory balances
• Cover sales tax reporting and compliance with state and local authorities
• Cover coordination with operational partners to obtain financial data
• Cover support system implementation and process improvements
• Cover supervision of a Senior Accountant

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience
• Strong general ledger and financial close experience
• Experience in multi-entity or partnership environments preferred
• Knowledge of lease accounting (ASC 842 / IFRS 16)
• Demonstrated proficiency operating within enterprise-grade ERP and accounting systems in complex, multi-entity environments (e.g. SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).
• Advanced Excel skills required
• CPA preferred; equivalent experience considered
