About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in advancing digital transformation of the Finance function to maximise its effectiveness within an ambitious and growing business through championing best practice, supporting strategic financial planning and helping develop a modern, customer-focused finance function that delivers real value.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of core finance operations, ensuring consistently high standards of day-to-day finance operations, reporting, and control.
• Play a significant role in the continued development of efficiencies within the function through the successful implementation of a new finance system.
• Transform and modernise finance processes, strengthen controls, and deliver lasting improvements across the function.
• Support strategic financial planning and help develop a modern, customer-focused finance function.

Requirements

• Full qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) and experience in a senior finance role.
• Experience supporting finance systems, ERP, or transformation projects, with knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics desirable.
• Strong hands-on experience across core finance operations, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial accounting, month-end, and year-end processes.
• Experience improving financial controls, reporting processes, policies, and ways of working.
• Strong accounting knowledge, commercial awareness, and advanced Excel/financial analysis skills.
• Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative, flexible, and hands-on approach.
• Ability to coach, support, and develop finance colleagues.
• Exceptional integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
