Key Responsibilities
- Process and code vendor invoices accurately within the accounting system
- Manage weekly check runs, ACH payments, and reconciliations
- Maintain precise job cost tracking across active construction projects
- Support monthly and year-end close processes
- Prepare and post general ledger entries
- Assist with financial reporting and account reconciliations
- Maintain subcontractor and vendor compliance documentation (W-9s, COIs, contracts)
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor budgets and cost performance
- Ensure internal controls and financial reporting standards are upheld
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience working for a CPA Firm
- Public accounting experience required (2+ years preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
