Position Overview We are seeking a high-caliber Financial Controller to lead our local financial operations during a period of rapid greenfield expansion. This is a critical leadership role responsible for managing all aspects of the general ledger, financial reporting, and local personnel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing finance and a proven track record of handling complex system integrations. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Systems: Manage and oversee all aspects of AP, AR, General Ledger, and financial reporting cycles.ERP Migration: Act as a core operational anchor during our ongoing transition from legacy accounting software (QuickBooks) to our new enterprise ERP platform.Department Leadership: Directly supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of office personnel responsible for daily transaction workflows.Operational Oversight: Review customer invoicing, vendor payments, and coordinate financial metrics alongside purchasing, shipping, and receiving departments.Corporate Collaboration: Prepare and deliver clear variance and financial reports to Top Management and the Global CFO via Microsoft Teams. Qualifications & Requirements Education: 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Minimum Requirement).Certification: CPA certification is highly preferred.Experience:Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting or controller-level experience.Demonstrated history of successfully managing and supervising personnel (2+ people).Hands-on experience working inside a fast-paced manufacturing office environment.Technical Skills: Deep proficiency with corporate payroll systems, garnishments, and multi-state tax filing compliance. Current familiarity with QuickBooks is required for the immediate transition, with a strong aptitude for enterprise ERP workflows.
