We are growing and looking for a Financial Controller who can transition into the CFO role within the next 9-18 months!

Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, payroll, cash)
- Deliver accurate monthly financials within 10 business days
- Maintain clean balance sheet reconciliations and audit-ready books
- Oversee billing, collections, and transaction accuracy
- Enforce internal controls, cash discipline, and process standardization
- Identify inefficiencies and drive automation/improvements
- Ensure accurate job costing, margin visibility, and cost allocation
- Partner with operations on revenue recognition and profitability
- Improve DSO, billing speed, and cash conversion cycle
- Build/own 13-week cash flow forecasting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting
- Support EBITDA normalization and financial clarity
- Clean, audit-ready financials with minimal adjustments
- Consistent, timely close (10 days or better)
- Improved cash flow, billing, and collections
- Clear KPI visibility and job-level profitability
- Business ready for institutional diligence
Requirements
- 8–12+ years in accounting/finance (Controller-level)
- Multi-entity experience ($50M–$150M preferred)
- Strong in job costing environments (construction, logistics, manufacturing, etc.)
- Experience improving processes, controls, and systems
- ERP experience (NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.)
Nice to Have
- CPA, MBA, or transaction/QoE exposure
Pay
$170,000 - $210,000 per year
