Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations for two dealership locations
- Manage and review month-end close, with a target of completing within 5 days
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements and compliance with dealership accounting standards
- Supervise a team of 5 including biller, title clerk, AP, cashier, and receptionist
- Train, mentor, and develop current staff to improve performance and efficiency
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and processes
- Partner with dealership leadership and the Regional Controller on financial performance and reporting
Qualifications
- Prior automotive Controller or Assistant Controller experience required
- CDK DMS experience preferred, not required
- Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor accounting staff
- Strong understanding of dealership financial statements and close process
