Finance plays a central role in driving performance and value, with the CFO actively leading financial strategy, operational decision-making, and alignment with public company governance, group reporting and audit expectations. Position Overview We are seeking a highly driven, hands-on Financial Controller to build and lead a best-in-class accounting function in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This role is a critical partner to the CFO and operating leadership, responsible for delivering accurate, decision-ready financial; strengthening close, controls and reporting; and establishing the finance infrastructure needed to scale globally. The Controller will operate at the intersection of corporate leadership and international manufacturing operations, ensuring strong financial discipline while enabling speed and execution. This is an execution-focused leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, balancing urgency, accountability, and compliance within a publicly traded framework. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves in the detail as they are building scalable, forward-looking systems. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Performance Support Own the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of management accounts, statutory inputs and group reporting across all global entitiesLead monthly and annual close processes with a focus on speed, rigor, and transparency and clear evidence of reviewDeliver clear, actionable financial insights to support CFO-led decision-makingEnsure alignment with IFRS group reporting requirements, local statutory requirements and group governance, reporting-calendar and audit expectations Manufacturing Finance & Margin Optimization Lead standard costing, inventory valuation, and production variance analysis across international operationsPartner directly with operations and plant leadership to identify cost drivers and improve marginsDrive visibility into manufacturing performance and implement scalable cost control processesSupport operational initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability Hands-On Accounting Execution Remain deeply involved in core accounting processes, including:Complex reconciliationsMulti-currency cash managementIntercompany accounting and eliminationsEstablish rigor and accountability in day-to-day financial operationsContinuously improve close timelines, reporting quality, and operational efficiency Controls, Compliance & Audit Readiness Build and maintain a robust internal control environment aligned with public company standardsEnsure compliance with IFRS and applicable international regulatory requirementsLead audit processes and maintain readiness for internal and external audit scrutinyCoordinate tax compliance, including cross-border considerations and transfer pricing Global Alignment & Cross-Border Leadership Act as the primary financial partner for international operationsAlign reporting, processes, and expectations across regionsNavigate cross-border complexities including tax, compliance, and operational differencesDrive consistency and accountability across a globally distributed finance function Team Building & Leadership Work with leaders to build, lead, and scale a high-performing accounting teamEstablish clear ownership, accountability, and performance expectationsWork with leaders to recruit, develop, and retain talent in line with organizational growthFoster a culture of ownership, discipline, and continuous improvement Key Relationships CFO (primary partner in financial strategy, decision-making, and performance execution)Operations and Plant LeadershipInternational Accounting TeamsGroup Finance, Audit, and External Advisors Qualifications CPA or equivalent professional certification preferredProven success as a Controller or senior finance leader in a high-growth or complex global environmentStrong background in manufacturing and cost accountingDeep knowledge of IFRS and multi-entity, multi-currency environmentsExperience operating within a public company or structured reporting environmentTrack record of building and scaling finance functions Skills & Attributes High sense of urgency with a strong bias toward action and resultsHands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environmentsStrong ownership mentality with accountability for outcomesAbility to translate financial data into clear business insights and decisionsComfortable operating under pressure with tight timelines and high expectationsContinuous improvement mindset with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and controlStrong cross-cultural communication skills and practical ability to work across global stakeholders.
