Chrysalis Psychiatry is a growing outpatient mental health practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico nestled in the Rio Grande Valley with the beautiful Sandia Mountains at its edge. We specialize in high quality, evidence-based treatments, offering comprehensive services such as medication management and interventional therapies for PTSD, depression, and other mental health conditions. We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports and maintain complete financial records.
• Oversee purchasing, financial transactions, and internal controls to ensure appropriate documentation, accuracy, and financial integrity.
• Identify discrepancies, risks, and opportunities and communicate significant financial issues to the COO and executive leadership.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow management in partnership with executive leadership.
• Develop financial analyses, projections, and recommendations to support operational planning and organizational strategy.
• Monitor financial performance, cash flow, liquidity, and spending against established budgets and communicate significant variances.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support organizational stability, operational needs, and long-term growth.
• Oversee revenue cycle operations, including billing, accounts receivable, collections, and the organization’s billing function.
• Supervise and support the biller and monitor revenue cycle performance, accuracy, collections, and opportunities for improvement.
