As a Financial Center Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the financial center while ensuring exceptional customer service, achieving sales goals, fostering employee development, and maintaining operational soundness. Your role will encompass a variety of duties aimed at driving growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Goal Achievements: Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for various banking products and services, including loans, deposits, and investments; lead by example by actively engaging in sales activities and motivating staff.
  • Individual Goal Achievement: Work closely with each team member to set clear, measurable goals aligned with organizational objectives; provide guidance, support, and resources; monitor progress using sales tools and coach for continuous improvement.
  • Operational Soundness: Accountable for all operational activities, including cash management, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal policies; implement risk management practices to safeguard assets, minimize fraud, and maintain a secure banking environment; collaborate with support functions to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Leadership & Culture: Uphold a customer‑centric culture by ensuring prompt, courteous, and efficient interactions; address inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly; implement initiatives to improve customer experience and loyalty.
  • Employee Development: Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to staff to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service; conduct regular documented performance evaluations using the HR tool; identify training needs and support career development.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; maintain confidentiality and protect customer information.
  • Community Engagement & CRA Efforts: Represent Northwest Bank in the local community by participating in events and initiatives; ensure compliance with Northwest’s policies, procedures, and Federal/State regulations.
  • Technology Utilization: Navigate Microsoft Office and department‑specific software to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • 2–3 years banking and/or retail experience.
  • 2–3 years sales leadership experience.
  • 2–3 years management experience.

  • Identify existing and potential problems, evaluate information, and suggest innovative solutions.
  • Allocate and effectively use information, personnel, time, and other resources to implement strategic plans.
  • Make decisions, render judgments, and take timely action within given authority.
  • Develop, evaluate, and implement alternative courses of action based on correct assumptions and support decisions with data or reasoning.
  • Present ideas and information effectively and concisely in oral and written form appropriate for the audience.
  • Listen actively, comprehend, and facilitate open exchange of ideas.
  • Motivate and direct others, assign work and authority, provide advice and assistance to achieve goals.
  • Understand and appropriately apply procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies; maintain credibility on specialty matters.
