Financial & Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring financial and operational reports for executive leadership and headquarters
• Develop professional PowerPoint presentations, dashboards, and management reporting packages
• Investigate trends, variances, and performance drivers, providing clear insights and recommendations
• Partner with Sales and operational teams to understand business activity and its financial impact
• Support month-end reporting and analysis activities
• Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and executive inquiries
• Consolidate data from multiple sources into meaningful reports that support business decisions
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and concise manner

Requirements

• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formulas, charts, graphs, and data analysis
• Strong financial reporting, business analysis, and variance analysis experience
• Ability to work with large data sets and translate information into actionable insights
• Experience preparing executive-level reports and presentations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter who can work independently and take ownership of deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting month-end reporting cycles
• Manufacturing industry experience
• SAP experience
• Experience working in a global or multinational organization
• Japanese language skills are a plus but not necessary

Pay

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Schedule

• This is a Contract to Hire position
• Fully onsite in San Diego, CA
