About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst supports a high-performing Capital Markets Brokerage Team in Greater Los Angeles, specializing in investment sales, redevelopment, and ground-up development opportunities across office, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, and alternative asset sectors. The role focuses on financial underwriting, valuation, investment analysis, transaction execution, and preparing institutional-quality marketing materials. Working directly with senior brokers, investors, and clients, the analyst plays a key role throughout the entire transaction lifecycle while gaining exposure to complex commercial real estate deals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in capital markets, investment sales, or real estate advisory.
  • Strong expertise in ARGUS Enterprise and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience building Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) financial models.
  • Knowledge of multiple commercial asset classes, including office, multifamily, industrial, hospitality, and mixed-use properties.
  • California Real Estate Salesperson License or the ability to obtain one within six months of employment.

Requirements

  • Develop complex financial models using ARGUS Enterprise and Microsoft Excel.
  • Perform underwriting and valuation analysis for commercial real estate assets.
  • Build and review Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models for acquisition, redevelopment, and development projects.
  • Analyze rent rolls, lease abstracts, operating statements, and market assumptions.
  • Create Broker Opinions of Value (BOVs) and pricing recommendations.
  • Create institutional-quality Offering Memorandums (OMs) and investment marketing materials.
  • Support the full transaction lifecycle, including due diligence, buyer underwriting, and escrow coordination.
  • Manage transaction data rooms and project timelines.
  • Conduct market research, comparable sales analysis, leasing analysis, and capital markets research.
  • Present financial findings and investment recommendations to brokers, investors, and clients.
  • Work on multiple high-profile assignments while meeting strict deadlines.
