Financial Analyst, Senior - CapEx

We are building a world-class Finance team and searching for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our growing Network Optimization Finance team.
You will partner closely with Finance Managers, Directors of Network Optimization, Field Finance teams, Engineering, Operations, and global finance partners to support a capital spend program of over $1B annually. This role requires strong financial analysis skills, the ability to lead cross-functional teams, and a commitment to process improvement in a highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as the global finance point of contact for capital expenditure (capex) growth, ensuring timely, accurate project spend, forecasting, and performance tracking while maintaining global consistency in processes and data governance.
- Collect, authenticate, and analyze financial data for the Optimization and Capital Deployment division and other stakeholders.
- Develop and utilize project models to determine the financial effectiveness of potential capital projects.
- Manage and produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of Global CAPEX spend, EBITDA, and Revenue versus underwrite to evaluate project performance and status.
- Partner closely with local finance teams to support the deployment of capital within their regions.
- Prepare executive-level financial deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive relevant experience, preferably in a Workday ERP environment.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience developing reports and/or processes in a Workday ERP environment.
- Financial modeling experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative), including the ability to solve practical problems and analyze processes for improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information crisply and succinctly.
- Strong interpersonal skills and presence to quickly gain respect and build relationships across all levels of the organization, including the C-Suite.
- Comfort working in a hands-on, highly engaged environment with a willingness to demonstrate flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a bias for action.
- Natural curiosity, enthusiasm, commitment, and servant leadership skills, with a willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without specific authority (cross-functional, matrixed teams).
- Commitment to providing outstanding internal and external customer support.
- Estimated travel: 5-10%.
