Financial Analyst Senior

About the role

Senior Financial Management Analyst supporting HQMC P&R Budget Execution Division in the areas of financial execution data management, field level execution monitoring and corrections, and current year operational support. This position is located in Arlington, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Current and prior year execution monitoring and analysis
• Developing Business Process Narratives (BPN) for USMC Financial processes
• Creating Financial Management Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for HQMC financial managers
• PBIS to DAI Reconciliations
• Midyear Review Support and Analysis
• Corrective Action Plan (CAP) development for audit related findings
• Provide FM subject matter expertise for process automation

Required qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting, Auditing, Business Management, or related field
• Thorough knowledge of DoD and/or USMC Financial Management processes
• 10+ years of experience in DoD/USMC Financial Management
• Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or DoD FM Certification Level II

Desired qualifications

• Experience with DAI, FM Data Analysis, and familiarization with process automation
• Prior experience at HQMC P&R or USMC Major Command level Financial Management a big plus

Pay

$70,800 – $172,400
