Job Title: Financial Analyst - ResidualsLocation: Los Angeles, California (Hybrid)Job Summary: We are supporting a company seeking a detail-oriented professional to help manage residuals processing, financial analysis, and reporting across a diverse portfolio of titles. Our team is looking for someone who can interpret agreements, support payment setup and forecasting, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to keep work accurate, timely, and well documented.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and interpret production, distribution, and legal contracts and deal terms to assess residual liability and financial impact.Forecast, set up, pay, and report residual liabilities in accordance with contractual terms while supporting related accrual obligations.Gather required information from production accountants and producers, and provide detailed setup data to third-party payment processors.Collect documentation, support audits, assist with complex projects, and contribute to process improvements, testing, and implementation of new systems.Required4+ years of experience in residuals accounting and financial analysisEntertainment industry experience is required with new media residuals is a plusStrong financial analysis and modeling skills, excellent Excel and Google web-based program skills, and the ability to comprehend and interpret collective bargaining agreements.Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.Highly motivated, analytical, proactive, organized, self-sufficient, and able to manage multiple projects independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.About SSI People: With over 26 years of industry experience, SSi People has built its reputation and expertise on putting people first.
