Our dynamic Real Estate & Property development team is growing! This newly added Financial Analyst position will support budgeting and forecasting for Annual and Long-Range Divisional Capital Budgets.
What You Will Do
- Develop annual and long-range capital plans by partnering with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to collect, evaluate, and prioritize budget needs aligned with business objectives.
- Create and present High Level Plan summaries to management and Sr. Leadership.
- Monitor actual spending, analyze trends, identify areas of risk or opportunity, and perform financial modeling, scenario evaluation, and ad hoc analysis to connect data points and inform forecasting decisions.
- Balance budget funds across spending categories to address changing business needs and trends while maintaining overall budget targets.
- Perform variance analysis and conduct research and inquiry relative to the variance.
- Provides strategic recommendations on budget matters & considerations.
- Aid with Power Apps integration.
- Identify capital project coding errors in reporting, create and submit correcting accounting entries to management.
- Provide support for cross divisional coding and accounting questions based on GAAP and Company Accounting Polices & Guidelines.
- Perform Year End Accounting functions including processing and developing accruals.
- Maintain proper documentation related to Sarbanes-Oxley Controls.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or Business
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in financial budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, with exposure to financial accounting and reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and the full Microsoft 365 suite
- Experience with and strong knowledge of Power BI or Tableau
- Preferred knowledge or experience with AI tools such as Co-Pilot used in a professional business setting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, including high level of attention to detail
- Comfortable using and presenting data and insights to tell a compelling story and drive decisions
- Willingness to manage multiple tasks within a deadline driven environment
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Curious, agile, and open to sharing new ideas and perspectives
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, comfortable presenting to all levels
- Experience collaborating and building strong relationships with partners in other functions/divisions

Pay
Starting salary range: $71,300.00 to $89,100.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
