About the role
We are seeking a Program Financial Analyst (PFA) to serve as a key financial partner within a complex, mission-driven scientific organization.
Responsibilities
- Providing end-to-end financial planning, analysis, and reporting for assigned programs and services
- Developing budgets, forecasts, and workforce plans
- Supporting proposal development and new funding efforts
- Analyzing variances, risks, and financial health
- Ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and contractual requirements
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain financial coherence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, or related field, with 4+ years of FP&A experience
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), advanced Excel, and large data sets
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred qualifications
- Professional certifications
- Experience with federal research environments
- Familiarity with financial tools and regulations
