The Financial Analyst, Philanthropy & Restricted Funds at Wills Eye Hospital supports the hospital's financial operations by managing the administration, monitoring, and reporting of philanthropic gifts, endowment accounts, and donor-restricted funds.
Responsibilities
- Support the hospital's financial operations by managing the administration, monitoring, and reporting of philanthropic gifts, endowment accounts, and donor-restricted funds.

- Maintain fund accounts and ensure gifts, donations, and endowment contributions are accurately recorded and allocated.
- Review restricted fund expenses for compliance with donor intent and hospital policies.
- Assist with annual endowment spending calculations and allocations.
- Generate recurring and ad hoc financial reports for leadership.
- Compile documentation for audits, financial statements, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
- Prepare financial schedules supporting donor stewardship reporting with the Advancement team.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required. Minimum of one year of professional experience in accounting, financial analysis, bookkeeping, or a related finance function.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, higher education, foundation, or another mission-driven organization.
- Experience with fund accounting, donor-restricted funds, endowment accounting, or nonprofit financial reporting (FASB/GASB).
- Experience using ERP systems, financial management software, or fund accounting platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- One to three years of progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis, bookkeeping, or a related finance function.
Skills
