About the role
Abnormal AI is hiring a Financial Analyst, Marketing to join our FP&A team. This role will act as a key financial partner to the Marketing team, driving budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to optimize marketing investments and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong finance background in FP&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Consulting, with expertise in financial modeling, scenario planning, and business partnership.
What You Will Do
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for marketing headcount and operational expenses
- Analyze complex datasets to develop scalable reporting solutions for Marketing month-end close, Budget-vs-Actuals variance analysis, and insight-driven forecasting
- Develop scenario-based financial models to assess marketing investments, ROI, and performance trends
- Partner with Marketing Operations and Strategy & Analytics teams to align financial plans with GTM initiatives and revenue growth strategies
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to FP&A & GTM senior leadership
- Leverage AI, automation, and analytics tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and financial reporting
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and support strategic resource allocation
Must Haves
- 2-4 years FP&A experience, ideally including GTM Finance
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning skills
- Experience partnering with marketing or GTM teams to support business growth
- Proven ability to influence senior executives through clear, data-backed recommendations
- Familiarity with AI, automation, and financial analytics tools to drive efficiency
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Pay
Base salary range: $84,200—$121,000 USD. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
