Financial Analyst (Level I)

About the role

The Consumer and Wealth Tax Operations Statement Team produces approximately 4,500,000 tax reporting statements and forms. The role involves researching, resolving, and validating the integrity of tax entries and income data within the tax reporting database, which is used to generate tax statements reported to the IRS, Puerto Rico, and various states.

Weekend and weekday overtime is required, particularly during tax season from January through April.

Responsibilities

• Validate data and reports against the tax database
• Review tax statements and forms to identify and resolve issues
• Support team process functions
• Research and respond to reporting inquiries from Branch Offices
• Perform daily, monthly, and annual report validation for numerous internal processes
• Demonstrate strong reconciliation skills

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with strong Excel skills

• Accurate and efficient data entry
