Financial Analyst – Insurance Operations # 26-19865

About the role

This position provides essential support for daily insurance administration processes, financial coordination, and proper accounting methodology. Duration: 12+ months contract with potential for full-time employment conversion.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project management teams on procurement activities, including purchase order creation, requisition processing, and full procure-to-pay support.
• Track insurance-related costs and execute month-end accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure proper accounting methodology and compliance with company policy.
• Support master data creation and maintenance to ensure data accuracy across systems.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with project managers, site personnel, finance, and business management to prepare and distribute memos required under financing agreements.
• Facilitate executive signature processes for required documentation.
• Maintain organized financial data and insurance tracking systems.
• Monitor and validate all insurance-related cost flows.
• Provide cost analysis and financial support to insurance providers.

Requirements

• Experience in Procurement / Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Financial & Accounting, Insurance Operations, or Insurance Cost and Administration.
• Experience with SAP financial modules.
• Knowledge of month-end accrual processes.

Qualifications

High School Grad / GED or Bachelor's or equivalent experience.
