About the role
As part of the Center of Excellence finance team, this role serves as a decision expert focused on cross-divisional and cross-functional processes. The position partners with business units to provide data-driven insights, drive standardization, and improve reporting efficiency using Business Intelligence tools. A continuous improvement mindset and strong communication skills are essential for success in this fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify business analytics that drive performance and develop financial analyses to support decision-making.
- Utilize Business Intelligence tools (SAP, QlikView, PowerBI, OneStream, etc.) to enhance reporting efficiency and consistency, expanding reporting capabilities.
- Provide recommendations to drive sound business decisions and influence the organization by communicating the story behind the numbers.
- Engage with teams across the organization to challenge the status quo and develop optimal solutions.
- Drive standardization and best practices in assigned areas of responsibility.
- Analyze business performance, communicate findings, and provide actionable recommendations to business partners.
- Prepare comprehensive standard reports highlighting key business insights to drive action.
- Support organizational processes such as annual planning, forecasting, and long-range planning through strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Review and analyze data across areas including capital expenditures, working capital, product development (ROI), asset/liability management, product pricing, profitability, and cost center expenses.
Requirements
- B.A./B.S. Degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting; advanced degrees and financial certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (Senior-level).
- Strong analytical, accounting, and problem-solving skills with a focus on deriving insights from large datasets.
- Broad experience in planning, budgeting, and accounting; manufacturing experience a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to provide influential leadership.
- Curious, self-starter mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and process streamlining.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Experience with systems such as SAP, QlikView, PowerBI, OneStream, or Domo is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing needs.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; Toro cannot sponsor or take over visa sponsorship.

- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting to effectively convey information to business users.
- Ability to perform under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Limited travel required.
