About the Role

As a Financial Analyst II, you will perform research work and prepare financial analysis necessary to make essential Corporate and Operational planning decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various financial functions such as period operational P&L reporting, budgeting, product costing, cost/benefit analyses, expense reconciliation, results forecasting, and other analytical tasks/reports.
  • Review complex financial data and maintain documented records supporting financial forecasts used in the rate and budget area.
  • Ensure management's understanding of actual vs. standard (target) rates.
  • Discover and drive new ways of using information to impact business decisions and results.
  • Provide complex analysis and recommendations to senior management on new business opportunities and existing business.
  • Train, mentor, and transfer knowledge to fellow team members.
  • May provide work leadership for lower-level employees.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in one-on-one and group situations, with the ability to work effectively within all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced facilitation and project management skills.
  • Advanced PC skills.
  • Ability to work complex issues with senior management using highly developed influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage large-scale projects from conception to implementation.
  • Ability to produce work that impacts management decisions and business results.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with little supervision.
  • Self-directed and motivated to get results independently.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • A related degree and work experience.
  • Prior experience supporting Manufacturing is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment.
  • Travel by car or airplane with overnight stays.
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Work extended hours.
