About the role
The Financial Analyst II will compile and analyze financial information integral to the core objectives and requirements of each department.
Responsibilities
- Consolidate reports, month-end journal entries, audit requests, scheduling, recurring meetings, and provide regular system maintenance for companies at various manufacturing locations across North America.
- Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations of business units.
- Serve as primary point of contact for plant accounting staff.
- Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual business unit reports and ensure that financial information has been recorded accurately.
- Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to manager.
- Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
- Complete any and all financial analyst related tasks as directed by supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including excellent Excel skills and a proven ability to build complex financial models.
- Proficiency in Consolidation and ERP software, such as LV and JDE, preferred.
- Knowledge of Cost Accounting Systems, preferred.
- Experience with SQL, preferred.
- Results and deadline oriented with an ability to manage multiple assignments and work extended hours as dictated by the workload.
- Strong desire to professionally grow and the ability to enthusiastically embrace new challenges.
- Team player with an ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
