Financial Analyst I

Job Summary

The Financial Analyst I will be responsible for maintaining spreadsheets and statistical models for financial analyses and will assist with the preparation of various reports and presentations for management.

Essential Functions

• Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.
• Create ad hoc reports and perform financial analysis.
• Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
• Review financial reporting and ensure data integrity to enable management decisions.
• Evaluate capital expenditures and depreciation.
• Analyze processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in a related field required or Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience: Experience in accounting or finance 2-3 years required. Experience in a role within a large healthcare organization 2-3 years preferred.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good analytical and mathematical skills.
• Intermediate Excel is required (pivot tables and V lookups).
• Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time.
• GAAP – Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Ability to analyze, consolidate, and interpret accounting data.
