Financial Analyst (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Performs professional financial analysis work based mainly on, but not limited to, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Extracts financial data from various accounting and information systems.
• Compiles, consolidates, and analyzes financial data.
• Analyzes, tests, and verifies information for correctness and reasonableness based on accounting and financial analysis knowledge.
• Responds to requests from management and other departments.
• Understands the flow of information and uses that knowledge to troubleshoot problems.
• Participates in monthly and quarterly accounting processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Explains how analysis was produced and/or reported.
• Updates and consolidates financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
• Serves as a member of the Corporate business reporting unit to support business unit reporting needs.
• Assists with project work.
• Ensures adherence to the company's framework of internal controls.
• Improves procedures, updates, and organizes documentation of reporting and planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent work experience.
• Up to 2 years of experience, with degree.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of financial areas preferred (e.g., investments, insurance products, premiums).
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with a customer service approach.
• Detail-oriented, accurate, analytical, able to work individually and within a team, organized, and prioritized.

Pay

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $53,000 - $70,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

Benefits

This position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
