Financial Analyst FP&A

Job Summary The Financial Analyst will help build and scale the company’s FP&A function. Reporting to the Director of FP&A and working closely with the CFO, this role owns the monthly reporting cycle, the budget and forecast models, lender reporting and the operational analysis that connects fleet and job performance to the P&L. The position offers direct exposure to board and sponsor reporting, fleet investment decisions and M&A, along with high visibility to senior leadership and the opportunity for a strong performer to make an immediate impact. Success in this role depends on being a reliable business partner who turns reporting into insights that leadership can act on. Responsibilities And Duties Prepare the monthly management and board package, including GL tie-out and commentaryBuild the annual budget and rolling forecasts by fleet, customer and end marketDeliver monthly variance analysis with revenue and margin bridgesReport operational KPIs, including utilization, rate, job profitability and operating spendHelp functional leaders, sales and branch managers manage forecasts and performancePrepare borrowing base and compliance certificates under the ABL facilityModel crane purchase ROI, buy vs. rent decisions, new branches and acquisitionsDevelop creative approaches to automate and streamline recurring reporting and analysis Qualifications And Skills 2 to 5 years in FP&A, corporate finance, banking, transaction advisory or public accountingAdvanced Excel modeling skills supported by strong accounting fundamentalsProven record as a business partner, with examples of analysis that drove decisionsSelf-starter who identifies and implements process improvements independentlyExperience with Power BI, Tableau or similar BI toolsStrong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to reconciliationAbility to communicate financial results clearly to non-finance audiencesBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related fieldAble to work 100% on-site and commute to our Bonner Springs, Kansas headquarters Preferred Qualifications Experience in a PE-backed environment, including board or lender reportingBackground in equipment rental, construction or another asset-intensive industryWorking knowledge of SQL, Python or other tools for data extraction and automation Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand, walk, stoop or crouch.Work environment is well-lit, air conditioned/heated office environment.
